Blain Ford Sain age 85, died Sunday February 7, 2016 at his home. Born in Lincoln County on July 28, 1930 he was the son of the late Montt and Willard Hoyle Sain. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. When he was able he enjoyed gardening. In addition to his parents, Blain is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Sain and Beauford Sain.

Blain is survived by Mary Margaret Ledford Sain; three step sons, Johnny Bridges and Janis

of Shelby, Terry Bridges and wife Beth of Shelby, Joe Bridges and wife Diana of Lenoir; two sisters, Hazel Sain of Vale, Bonnie Brackett and husband Dean of Vale; two brothers, Hoyle Sain and wife Mabel of Lincolnton and Forney Sain and wife Ruth of Vale; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Robert Mote officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
