Lighting of the Tree: Over the past years, at Christmas, the Crouse United Methodist Church/CUMC Outreach Class sponsors "Lighting the Tree" and Pat Heafner, member of the Outreach Class, says that 2025 will see the tradition continued. Last year 100% of donations, collected through this Outreach project, went to Christian Ministries of Lincoln County and the hope this year is to match or exceed last year's donation.
The tree will be in the Crouse United Methodist Church Gazebo. The lights will be turned on for the Crouse community to enjoy. Each light on the tree signifies a loved one to be honored or remembered. Anyone interested in sponsoring a light or lights on the Community Christmas Tree please contact Pat Heafner at the address below to receive a form which you can use to donate. Donation forms can be found at Mem'ry Lane Antiques & Finds, Crouse Community History & Photo Project office, and Crouse United Methodist Church.
Remember, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Christian Ministries of Lincoln County. Please consider a donation, ensuring that this year's project is a success. Your donation will help those who are less fortunate.
