Mr. Clyde Hopper, 77, of 2554 Pleasant Hill Ch. Rd., Kings Mountain, NC passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mr. Hopper served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gardie Hopper and Sally Smith Hopper; 6 brothers; and 2 sisters.
He is survived by 2 sons, Michael Lee Hopper and fiancé Lisa Sheppard, and Richard Clyde Hopper and wife Rolanda, all of Grover, NC; 2 sisters, Hannah Padgett of Shelby, and Sara H. Bridges of Ellenboro, NC; 1 sister-in-law, Mary Hopper of Gastonia; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
