Daniel Joseph Furr, 42, of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2024 at Spartanburg Medical Center in South Carolina.

Born November 24, 1981, he was the son of Sharon Bryson Jamison and the late Steven James Furr. After graduating high school, Daniel served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Air Force, then went on to work as a security officer. Daniel was a loving husband and great provider. He was caring and had a big heart for others; he would help anyone, given the chance. To know him was to love him; his sudden absence will be deeply mourned and he will be dearly missed.

Step-sons: Corey Green and wife, Hannah, and Aaron Marr, all of Kings Mountain, NC
Brother: Steven "Jamie" Furr of Concord, NC
