Darrin Ray Griggs, 57, of 1008 Cleveland Ave, passed away on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland.

Darrin was the son of Jacqueline "Jackie" Putnam and the late Danny Ray Griggs. He worked as a journalist in Norway for over thirty years. Darrin always said that journalism paid the bills, but his heart was always an artist. He created artistic prints using a wood print process.

In addition to his mother, Darrin is survived by two sons, Tobias Sean Griggs and Finn Lucas Griggs; a brother, Sean Griggs; an aunt, Vickie Bingman (Benny); special supportive cousins, Kim Duckworth, Lisa Gordon, and Tommy Martin; and a loving group of high school and college friends who never lost touch.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 18th, 2024, at 11:00am in the Grover City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Grover Town Hall following the service.
