David Eugene Putnam, 69, of Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Gaston County, on June 7, 1954, he was a son of the late John W. Putnam, Sr. and Mary Lucille Seagraves Putnam.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Johnathon David Putnam and a brother, Donald Keith Putnam.

He is survived by a brother, John W. Putnam, Jr and his wife Rachel of Travelers Rest, SC.
