Deane Morrison Rupard, age 84 formerly of N. Cherry St. passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Wellington House in Gastonia. She was born September 2, 1932 in Iredell County to the late Jay and Viola Morrison. She was formerly employed at Modern Polymers and drove a school bus. She enjoyed yard work and gardening. Deane was also a NASCAR fan and loved traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ashley.
Survivors include her sons, Jack Rupard and wife, Betsy and Randy Rupard and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Kendra Webb and husband, Kelly, Shafer Rupard and Hayden Rupard; and a great grandson, Grayson Webb.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville with Pastor Ernest Sheldon officiating.
