Earl Dean Parker Sr. age 89 died Sunday January 3, 2016 at Peak Resources in Cherryville. Born in Westville Oklahoma on March 10, 1926 he was the son of the late Pete Earl and Maco Smith Parker. Earl was a member of Lattimore Baptist Church. He worked in NASCAR as a motor sports consultant. He was a talented man who had a large number of hobbies and interests. Earl enjoyed staying busy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Lee Parker and a sister, Betty Lou Lucas.

Earl is survived by a son, Earl Dean Parker II and wife Cheryl of Shelby; a daughter, Tammy Parker and husband Eric Clemmer of Mt. Holly; two sisters, Annabelle Shine and husband Larry of Lake Havasu City AZ. and Darlene Parker of California;

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Lattimore Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Max Burgin and Rev. Joe Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm before the service.
