Ercell Ann Grant, 68, of 605 Sugar Hill Road, died Thursday,
April 26, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Born December 9, 1943 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Paul Lee Grant and Adelene Fitch Grant. She was a member of Mulls Memorial
Baptist Church and also worked for Cleveland Vocational.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy
Grant and Hazel Grant and a sister, Sara Grant Hull and two sisters-in-laws,
Becky and Elaine Grant.
Survivors include three brothers, Everett Grant of Cherryville, Steve Grant
and wife, Juanita of Shelby and Harvey Grant of Cherryville; two sisters,
Frances Booth and husband, Kenneth of Cherryville and Mabel Christine
Pearson of Shelby; brother-in-law, Ronnie Hull of Shelby; and special
caretaker Paulette Wellmon and lots of nieces and nephews
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Sunday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Officiating: Dr. Ervin Price and Rev. Jackie Price
Burial: Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery
