Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Martin Ward; her parents, Frank and Mattie Lou Hackett Morrow; one son, Dewey Marvin “Skip” Ward; one niece, Gladys Lowe; one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her nephews Ricky Craft and wife Elaine of Cherryville; Milton Lowe and wife Verna of Kentucky and Mickey Campbell of Athens, GA; and a special caregiver Marie Grant and husband Danny of Shelby.
