Grant "Mud Cat" Carroll, 59, of 595 Bear Creek Road, passed away Saturday, June 24th, 2017, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Grear Carroll and Regina Blanton Carroll. Mr. Carroll retired as a Lead Operator with the power company and was a member of Cherokee Falls Baptist Church.

Mr. Carroll is survived by one brother, Larry Blanton of Blacksburg and one sister, Gwen Spanos of Gaffney;

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Monroe and Letha Petty Carroll; and maternal grandparents, Rhea and Nazie Blanton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church, 207 First Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702. Memorial services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gregg Martin and Rev. Lucky Earls officiating.
