Gregory Shayne Helveston, 18, of 109 Third Street, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Brandi Martin Helveston. Gregory was a cook at Danny''''s Restaurant.

In addition to his parents, surviving Gregory are his grandfather, Curtis Martin, his grandmother, Elizabeth Epley, and his great-grandfather, Trude Martin.

In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Dorothy Martin.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25th, 2024 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at 11:00 am at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. David Murray officiating. Interment will follow at Cook Memorial Gardens in Shelby, NC.
