Heather Marie Holland, 51 passed away peacefully in her sleep on October
29, 2016 at her residence in Greensboro, NC. She was born on January 13,
1965 at St. Margaret's Hospital in Dorchester, MA to Jerry Timothy Holland
Sr. and Rose-Marie Holland. Heather was raised in Shelby, NC where she
graduated from Crest High School in 1983. She also attended Isothermal
Community College and Gardner Webb University where she earned a Bachelor
of Science in nursing. She moved to Greensboro, NC in 2007 where she
resided until her death.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Timothy Holland Sr. and a
brother, Charles Barclay Whitmore. She is survived by her mother,
Rose-Marie Holland of Shelby, a brother, Timothy Holland Jr. of Shelby,
and a brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Emily Holland of Shelby.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Patterson
Springs Baptist Church.
Memorials can be sent in memory of Heather to the Pregnancy Resource
Center of Cleveland County.
