York -- Howard Moses, 76, of 5138 West Liberty Hill Road, passed away Thursday, May 4th, 2017, at Pruitt Health - Rock Hill.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the widower of Ruby Norman Moses and the son of the late Ernest Westley Moses and Elizabeth Dover Moses. Mr. Moses retired from construction and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Moses are one son, Robert Moses, of Lincolnton, NC; one daughter, Lizzie Bradshaw, of Lincolnton, NC; a brother, Ernest Moses, of the home; five sisters, Louise Love of Blacksburg, Wilma Bolin of Blacksburg, Dorothy Pruitt of Gastonia, NC, Annie Ingle of Lincolnton, NC, and Julie Stewart of Kings Mountain; nine grandchildren, including Brandy Bradshaw, who lived with him and help him; and eighteen great-grandchildren, including Destiny Bradshaw and Andrel Romero, whom he raised.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7th, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2:30 pm in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Virgil Hampton officiating. Ricky Bradshaw, Wilbur McAbee, Cody Gibson, Josh Parker, Chris Wentz, and Jerrod Bradshaw will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective homes.
