James E. Navy, age 96, resident of Charlotte, NC formerly of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on September 4, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late James Franklin and Florence Pearson Navy. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 75 years, Margaret Lybrand Navy; son, Franklin Austin Navy; and great grandchild, Eliana Navy; and 8 siblings. Mr. Navy was owner and operator of The Pastry Shop, Charlotte, NC. He was of the Methodist Faith and proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 1160, Charlotte, NC. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather and always a good provider and businessman.

George Navy and wife Kikko, Fayetteville, NC

4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 8, 2016 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
