James Edward "Logpuller" Alexander, 63, of Old Chester Road, passed away at his residence on December 4th, 2024.

Born in York, SC, he was the son of Elizabeth Stroup Alexander and the late Luther Burns "LB" Alexander. Ed formerly worked in textiles. He was a longtime CB radio operator known by the handle, "Logpuller" and he loved his cat and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his mother, Ed is survived by his daughter, Kelly Willis; his brothers, L.D. Alexander and Roger Alexander; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9th, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will be held in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Mullinax and Rev. Damon Keefs officiating. Interment will be private.
