James Walker Howard, age 61 died Friday February 7, 2014 at  Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Born in Rock Hill SC. on December 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Paul Maxton and Ruby Jackson Howard. Jimmy volunteered with  the American Red Cross for a number of years. He worked for Tuscarora Yarn in Clover SC. He loved children and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  In addition to his  parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Howard.

Jimmy was survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Howard; a son, Michael Howard and wife Heather of Covington Ga., two grandchildren, Nathaniel Howard and Alex Howard; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements will be held at a later date.
