Jeanette Elizabeth Peeler Marlow, 85, of Matthews, formerly of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Matthews Health & Rehab.

Born in Cleveland County, on January 12, 1939, she was a daughter of the late William Ottis Peeler and Vernie Mae Queen Peeler. She was a former daycare worker caring for may children through the years, and a member of Lawndale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Marlow; two brothers Otis Peeler and Jimmy Peeler; a sisters Betty Peeler and three half sisters.

She is survived by her son Rodney Parker and wife Debbie of Lawndale; daughter, Nicole Waters and wife Jen of Charlotte; a step-daughter, Penny Blanton of Shelby; a sister, Dolly Greene of Lawndale; a sister-in-law, Joyce Peeler of Lawndale; long-time friend Doug Peeler; thirteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lawndale Baptist Church.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lawndale Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kilby officiating.
