Jennifer Hasty Blackwell, 76, of 1434 N Limestone Street, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30th, 2024, at Peachtree Centre after a lengthy illness.

She was the widow of Charles W. Blackwell and the daughter of the late Lee Albertus Hasty and Vivian Thompson Hathcock.

Surviving Mrs. Blackwell are her son, Scott Lee Blackwell of Matthews, North Carolina; and her sisters, Peggy Gunter (Dorian H.) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Susan Lansdon (Steven G., Sr.) of Smith''s Station, Alabama. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by daughter, Shannon Merritt Gibson.

The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. Hiep Pham, Jessica Whisnant, and the nursing staff at Peachtree Centre and Agape Hospice for all of their kindness to Jennifer in her last days.
