Joel Earl Allison, 70, of 300 Enola Rd, Morganton, died Monday, March 5,
2012 at J. Iverson Riddle Development Center in Morganton.
Earl was born in Cleveland County on November 20, 1941 to the late Pinkney
Alexander Allison and Pearlie Mae Davis Allison. He was a member of
Norman's Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his brother, Gilmer Allison and wife Shirley of Lawndale;
nephew, John David Allison and friend, Jennifer Ray of Lawndale; niece, Ann
Miller and husband Ken of Lawndale; great nephews, Caleb Miller, Cole
Miller, and Chance Allison and great niece, Marlee Griffith. Earl was also
survived by many loving and caring family and friends at J. Ivereson Riddle
Development Center.
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Norman's Grove Baptist Church,

Lawndale.
