Lissie Dellinger age 95, passed away at Colonial Manor of Rutherfordton NC on Friday September 16th 2016. Lissie was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Epley Norman and the widow of Lonnie Dellinger. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Woodrow, Grover and Arthur Norman, her sister Cordie Epley and son in law Eddie Yelton.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Brenda Yelton, son Ken Dellinger and his wife Diane, grandchildren Wesley Yelton, Kenny Dellinger and Kelly Dellinger, great grandchildren Meagan Yelton, Sarah Yelton, Wyatt Yelton, Landon Dellinger and Ari Thomas. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends including Candy Virzi whom she considered one of her own.
Funeral services will be held 5 PM Monday September 19, 2016 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 - 5 PM Monday September 19, 2016 at Crowe's Mortuary.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Burke County.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
