Love Jesse Wilds, 70, of 599 South Rutherford Street, passed away Friday, October 3rd, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Marion, NC, he was the widower of Victoria Wilds and the son of the late Jess and Callie Wilds. Mr. Wilds retired as a painter and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving Mr. Wilds is one daughter, Taylor Brook Riddle, of the home; two sisters, Elizabeth Roberts of Fletcher, NC and Nancy Riddle of Blacksburg; and three brothers, Roy Wilds of King, NC, Jerry (J.D.) Wilds of Pickens, and Stokley Wilds of Marshall, NC.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Wilds was preceded in death by one brother, Hardy Wilds, and four sisters, Ruby Dishroom, Olliebell Price, Ethel Mosley, and Violet Bennett.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Ms. Taylor Riddle officiating.
