Michael Eugene Dixon, 71, of 107 Harlan Street, passed away on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Kings Mountain, NC, he was the husband of Amanda Leanne Lancaster Dixon and the son of the late Ernest and Beatrice Jackson Dixon. Michael formerly worked in logging.

Surviving Mr. Dixon, in addition to his wife, are his children, April Dixon, Melissa Dixon, Tyra Dixon, Danielle Dixon, Michael Dixon Jr., and Nicole Pruitt and husband, Justin; his grandchildren, Jane and Sallie Morris, Christopher Campbell, Paul High, Breanna Estes, Jazzy Hull, Maggie Pruitt, Amanda Bridges, River Pruitt; his great-grandchildren, Brian Lucas and Ava Lucas; and his siblings, Marty Wayne Bolin and wife, Darlene, Kenny Dale Dixon and wife, Jackie, and Evelene Dover.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11 2024, from 5:00-6:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 6:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Johnny Mullinax officiating.
