Nicky Jonas, 38 of 835 Tower Road, Vale, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

Born November 11, 1974 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Max and Dayle C. Jonas.  Nicky was employed by Coventry Health in Gastonia.  She was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church and the Berean Sunday school class.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a sister, Shaunda Camp and husband, Bryan of Cherryville; two nieces, Brooklynn and Katie Camp; maternal grandparents, Hal and Joan Champion of Shelby; special friend, Kyle Jarrett of Vale and special dog, CiCi.  Nicky is also survived by several aunts, uncles and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Friday at Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home of her parents, 102 Summers Place, Cherryville.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday at Anthony Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Bean officiating. 

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Anthony Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Anthony Grove Road, Crouse, NC  28033.
