More Info: The Crouse Fire Department has graciously offered to give the Crouse Community Building back to the community. Before the community can take ownership of the property there are taxes and attorneys fees that will need to be paid. To assist with this we will be having a charity yard sale. Note: The sale will be held at Derrick & Shannon Bivens house, across from St. Paul's Lutheran Church not the Community Building.

Her subject will be the American Revolutionary, the religion on the frontier and how it affected the area. Foothills Quilters Guild: Foothills Quilters Guild invites you to join us each month on the third Thursday, (October 15th) at the Ascension Lutheran Church 300 N. Lafayette St in Shelby NC. We welcome new members young and old to learn and share in the talents and knowledge of the art of Quilting. Our doors are open at 1000 am for open sew day. Bring your machine and any project to work on or join in on the mystery Block of the Month or other fun activities throughout the day. Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm weekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom off Dale St. between Sumter & Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley.
