Ruby Willis Cook, 94, of Casar Road, Lawndale, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 her residence.

Born in Lincoln County, NC on February 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arlandus R. Willis and Hattie Minnie Costner Willis. Mrs. Cook was retired from Kiser Roth Hosiery and was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dwight Willis, Iredell Willis, A.R. Willis and L.A. Willis and three sisters, Pearl Sigmon, Mae Benfield and Muriel Sain.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Elbert Clyde Cook; a son, Arnold Cook and wife, Carolyn of Vale; a grandson, Aaron Cook; a sister, Nell Yarbro of Vale and a brother, C.W. Willis of Lincoln County.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Ms. Forestine Sain and Rev. Jeremey Mahaffey officiating.
