Saundra Anita Ryce Mooring, 73, of 3018 Downing Street, passed away on Thursday, April 8th, 2021, at Atrium Health Cleveland.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the wife of Linwood Mooring, and the daughter of Lucille Leffall and the late John Ryce. Mrs. Mooring was a member of Limestone Missionary Baptist Church, retired as a Homemaker and loved taking care of her family (immediate and extended), crafting and gardening, sewing, selling Paparazzi, cooking, canning, shopping, and traveling.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mooring is survived by three daughters, Saundra (Sean) Odom, of Shelby, Stephanie Mooring, of Spruce Pine, Sherri (David) Ford, of Kings Mountain; one son, Devon (Legacy).

Mrs. Mooring was preceded in death by her father, John Ryce.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17th, 2021, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at 3018 Downing Street, Shelby, NC 28152. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 18th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel, 211 E. Frederick St. Gaffney, SC 29340 with Rev. Michael Golden officiating.
