Sheila Graham Brown, 76, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 9, 2024 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Born November 24, 1947 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, she was daughter of the late Allen Duke and Evelyn Caveny Graham and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joe Brown, and her brother, Cpl. Michael Allen Graham. Sheila was raised in Kings Mountain and graduated Kings Mountain High School Class of '66. She worked several retail jobs in and around her community, most recently for Lowe's Home Improvement in Gaffney, SC. Sheila loved traveling and kept a camper in her happy place, Maggie Valley, where she spent her summers. She made lots of friends up in the mountains, and no matter your location, if you were Sheila's friend, you were a friend for life. Sheila often spoke with and spent time with her friends, much as she did with her kin. She was very family-oriented, keeping up with both the Brown and Graham sprawling clans, checking in often even with her extended family members. Sheila was in church all her life, most recently attending Dixon Presbyterian Church in Kings Mountain. Her family remembers her as a devoted wife to Joe and a very loving mother. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Sunday, May 12th, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Patterson officiating.

VISITATION: Sunday, May 12th, 2024 prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:50 P.M. in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home.
