Sherry Helms Murphy, 69 of Gantt Road, Vale, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her residence.

Born in Cleveland County, on January 26, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lee Helms and Betty Lou Davis Helms.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Eddie" Edward Murphy and brother, Mike Helms.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather Murphy Sain; three step children, Chuck Murphy and Bou Murphy both of Myrtle Beach, SC and Chris Murphy of Waterloo, SC; a brother, Randy Helms of Vale; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
