Steven Riley Peterson, 28, of 1068 Asbury Road, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 13th, 2023.

Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Kenneth Daves and Connie Vinson Peterson. Riley worked in construction and loved motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, Riley is survived by three sons, Kayson Riley Peterson, Cayden Lee Deal, and Colton Michael Hurst; two daughters, Kinsley Aaliyah Jade Peterson and Katelynn Nicole Grace Thompson; a brother, Sam White Jr; a sister, Kellye White; his best friend, Derek Lee; and his "baby mama" and best friend, Monica Skipper.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Rev. S.L. Ford officiating.
