Terry Lee Lipsey, 70, of 105 Carmel Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at his home.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Cheryl Isler Lipsey and the son of the late Elbert Lipsey and Janelle Duncan Lipsey. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, enjoyed cutting grass, loved his furbabies and loved his family. Mr. Lipsey was retired from Milliken and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are two daughters, Crystal Payseur (Derek) of Wilmington, NC and Chasity Rieger (Todd) of Leesville, LA; a brother, Levon Lipsey (Peggy) of Kings Mountain; a sister-in-law, Betty Lipsey of Gaffney; five grandchildren, Natalie Payseur, Samantha Payseur, T.J. Rieger, Matthew Rieger and Corey Rieger. Mr. Lipsey was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Human; four brothers, Bill Lipsey, Elbert Lipsey Jr, Doug Lipsey and Danny Lipsey; and two sisters, Malinda Pennington and Frances Sanders. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Interment will be in Clingman Memorial Gardens.
