Mr. Thomas Carroll Truitt, 68 of 3252 Wellman Road, Vale, NC passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston, NC.
Mr. Truitt was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Viola T. Truitt; 3 brothers, Carl, Kenneth and Frank Truitt; and 4 sisters, Martha Whitner, Linda McMahon, Agnes Leonhardt and Janell Norman.
He is survived by 1 son, Thomas Carroll Truitt II and wife Nancy; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jabe Truitt and wife Nancy of Lincolnton, NC, and Richard Truitt and wife Jane of Hickory, NC; 2 sisters, Brenda Hamm and husband Wayne of Newton and Judy Cook of Vale, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and lots of close friends.
