SHELBY: Thomas James Morris, born December 9, 1959, departed this life on July 3, 2025, at the age of 65. He leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness, having touched the lives of many with his generous spirit and unwavering loyalty.
Tom is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Olsen.
He was survived by his wife, Sara Morris of thirteen years, a son, Matthew Morris, and a grandson, Anderson.
Tom was a residential plumber for over twenty-eight years. He met his life-long true love, Sara Morris, on a "side job".
Tom enjoyed helping others, fishing, camping and grilling, baseball, the Pittsburgh Steelers, VA Tech Hokies, trail riding his horse, all genres of music, and listening to nature wake up during his morning coffee on the porch with his loving wife. His goodness, kindness, humor, and light was like a magnet, drawing all who met him to him.
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date to be announced by the family.
