Vernie McSwain Tesenee

Mrs. Vernie McSwain Teseneer, 89, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Cluff and Eunice Goode McSwain. Vernie was employed by Cleveland Sandwich Company and Snack Time Foods and also enjoyed gardening.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Teseneer; son Johnny Teseneer; sister Annie Mae Sarratt; and brothers Donald, Howard, Lindsey, and Yates McSwain.

SURVIVED: She is survived by two granddaughters, Lisa Teseneer and Thurston Hamrick and Joneil Humphries and husband Keith; two great grandsons, Jamie Teseneer and Josh Humphries; brother Bobby McSwain and wife Troyce; and sisters Madge Harris and husband Cluade, Carolyn Powell, and Betty Blanton, all of Boiling Springs.

SERVICES: Monday, 11am, Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

VISITATION: 5-6:30pm, Sunday, Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home of her granddaughter Joneil, 2343 T.C. Humphries Farm Road, Mooresboro.
