Vickie Morgan Wright, 71, of 2079 West Cherokee Street, passed away on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, at Cherokee Medical Center.

Born in Kings Mountain, NC, she was the wife of Herbert Wright and the daughter of the late Billy and Dorothy Moss Childers. Vickie was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Wright are her son, Terry Wright of Blacksburg; her grandchildren, TJ Wright and Faith Wright; and her grandchild, Raider Wright.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm at Frederick Memorial Gardens, 986 Chesnee Highway, Gaffney, SC with Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Herbert Wright, Terry Wright, TJ Wright, Danny Wright, Jerry Wright, and Eddie Norman will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective homes.
