Walker James Brackett, of Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte.

Born in Mecklenburg County, on December 13, 2023 , he was the infant son of Connor Stephen Brackett and Madison Michaela Grigg Brackett of Shelby.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Everette Brackett; a sister, Kadie Brackett; grandparents, Melissa Gosnell and husband Melvin of Kings Mountain, Ronnie Grigg and wife Debbie of Boiling Springs, Ellen Parobeck and husband Scott of Fairfax, VA, and Ricky Brackett and wife Gail of Lawndale; great grandparents, Juliann Gasque of Rockhill, SC and Mary Lou Blair of Shelby, NC; aunts and uncle, Logan Wilson and husband Adam of Lattimore, Mackenzie Grigg of Boiling Springs, Jessica Keith and husband Justin of Greenville, and Scott Brackett and wife Elizabeth of Shelby.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at Drury Dobbins Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Roberts officiating.

The family will great friends immediately following the service.
