Mrs. Wanda Allen Hendrick, 80, of Shelby, NC passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Services were held at Elizabeth Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Hendrick was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Mal Hendrick; her parents, Howard and Reo Allen; and 1 brother, Donald Howard Allen.

She is survived by 3 sons, Michael Hendrick and wife Esther of Harlingen, TX, Bryon Hendrick and wife Sheila, and Robin Hendrick and wife Marie, all of Shelby; 2 daughters, Connie Waldrep and husband Ben, and Susan Melton and husband David, all of Shelby; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and 2 special caregivers, Candice Eaker and Tonya Tessener.
