Kings Mountain - Mr. William Edward "Bill" Rudisill, 71, passed away on
Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

Bill was born in Charleston, SC on July 3, 1945 a son of Milo Odell
Carpenter and Louise Heafner Carpenter. He retired as a machinist in the
textile industry and worked for Fab Industries in Cherryville and Mohican
Mills in Lincolnton. Bill was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in
Cherryville and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie
Kelly Rudisill and a sister, Patricia Ann Carpenter.

Survivors include his son, Jon Mark Rudisill of Kings Mountain and a
brother, Charles Carpenter of Charleston, SC.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 12:45PM to 1:45PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 2:00PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Jerry
Allen officiating.

Burial will be at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
