A Great Day At Burns High For World Hunger
Students prepare food packages for shipping.
The Burns Interactors held two school-wide coin drives to raise the money needed to cover the cost of the meals. Students spent 10 days counting and rolling the coins. The Burns Interact Club is sponsored by the Shelby Breakfast Rotary Club. Interact is an international service club for young people between the ages of 14 and 18. More than 40 Burns High students belong to the Burns chapter. They participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and initiative. More than 200,000 students in 110 countries are Interactors.
