Annie Ruth Hoyle Green, 77, of Green Farm Road, Lawndale, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Atrium Health - Cabarrus, Concord.

Born in Cleveland County, on October 11, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Hoyle and Bessie Mellon Hoyle. She worked in Home Health Care and was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden or going to trade lots.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Hoyle and James Hoyle and a sister, Mildred Allen.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years Hugh Green; two son, Brian Green of Lawndale and Jason Green and Chasity of Lawndale; three brothers, Steve Hoyle and wife Kathy of Shelby, Gary Hoyle of Taylorsville; and Bobby Hoyle of Vale; two sisters, Ruby Hoyle of Shelby, and Louise Hull of Hickory; five grandchildren, Lanie Green, Brandon Green, Madison Green, Dylan Green, Ben Green; and two best friends, Mary Lou Cook and Ida Nell Cook.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norris Willis officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
