Get ready to "Paint the Town Purple" in uptown Shelby on May 4, 2016, from 3:30 - 8 p.m. Promoted as a Relay for Life "pep rally," the event has really taken off in the last few years, according to volunteer Brite Warrick.

The Ambassadors Club at Kings Mountain High School recently raised $1,907 for Hospice patients.
