Autumn Ruby Houser Johnson, age 19 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022.

She was a native of Cleveland County, NC and the daughter to Richard Clay Johnson and Summer Nicole Brookshear. Autumn had a carefree spirit and loved to travel. She was an animal lover, especially dogs, and loved to dress up, color her hair. She always had a soft spot for elderly folks and loved to help them when needed. Autumn was an extremely hard worker and had already finished her courses at Crest High School in Shelby, NC and was waiting to graduate in June and go on to begin college courses in the fall of this year. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J.D. Johnson and Martha Johnson.

She is survived by her mother, Summer Nicole Houser Brookshear (Joseph), father, Richard Clay Johnson (Tammy), one brother Noah Jonson, one sister Kaydi Coker and maternal grandparents Larry and Shirley Houser and many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 12pm to 1:45pm in the sanctuary at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2pm with Reverend Rob Hefner and Reverend Ray Hefner officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
