Barbara Ann Franklin Hudson, 64 of Corinth Church Road, Casar, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at UNC Health - Blue Ridge in Morganton.

Born in Norfolk County, Virginia on January 8, 1959, she was the daughter of Doris Benfield Franklin and the late Alvin Curtis Franklin. Barbara was retired from Henredon Furniture and Baker Furniture.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Franklin and a sister, Janice Franklin.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry Hudson; two sons, Billy Franklin and wife, Leslie of Morganton and Tim Blankenship of Casar; two brothers, Wayne Franklin and Donald Franklin both of Connelly Springs and three grandchildren, Alexis Byars, Mariah Moody and Nathan Blankenship.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.
