Bertha Emily Eaker Frank, age 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 26, 2024 while at her home surrounded by loving and devoted family.

She was born to the late James Byers and Annie J. Byers in Polk County, NC. She is also predeceased by her husband, Roland W. Frank; husband, Jim Eaker; sons, Roland W. Frank, Jr and Christopher Frank; grandchildren, Billy D. Byers, Jr., and Tabitha R. Byers; 9 siblings

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Billy D. Byers and wife, Patricia of Grover, NC and John Paul Frank and wife, Libby of Shelby, NC; daughter, Cindy Lynn Pierce and husband, Roy of SC; grandchildren, Annie Byers of Grover, Melissa Nikorri of Texas, Christina Frank and Chad Frank; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; good friend, Rose Davis; special caregivers, Matt Russell and Cathe Curphey.

Emily owned 3 Beauty Shops. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her most treasured pleasure on this Earth was to give out Bible Tracts and to tell people about the Lord. She did this for 25-30- years. She loved all of her children. She would invite people to drive by her house to see the huge cross she had in her field. People knew her as the Bible/Tract Lady and Maw-Maw. She would listen to Jimmy Swaggart songs all day and night. It was never turned off. She would describe the Lord as having a Snow White Beard, White Robe and a Golden Girdle around his waste. She loved to tell people every where she went about The Lord's features as she saw Him. She drove her sports cars/fishing cars to get attention from people, so she could share her love The Lord.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 02, 2024 at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, 4089 US-70, Marion, NC 28752.
