Betty Jeanette Anthony Ross

Betty Jeanette Anthony Ross, 89, of Kings Mountain passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026, surrounded by love, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby. Jeanette was born December 13, 1936 to the late Arthur Austin Anthony and Lillie Ethel Philbeck Anthony.

Jeanette was a woman whose life was deeply rooted in faith and family. She loved Jesus and carried her Christian faith with her throughout her life. She enjoyed attending church and found comfort, strength, and peace in her relationship with the Lord.

Above all, Jeanette loved her family. She was the heart and glue of her family, and nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by the people she loved. Her presence brought a sense of home, and the love she gave will continue to be felt for generations.

Jeanette also had a special love for the beach, a place that brought her happiness and many cherished memories.

While her family will miss her more than words can express, they find peace in knowing that the woman who loved Jesus so faithfully is now home with Him.

Jeanette leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, and love--one that will live on in the hearts of everyone who was blessed to know her. Jeanette worked for many years as a Lab Technician at Fiber Industries. She was a long-time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Kings Mountain.
