Billy Ray Arrowood, 79, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 10, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born in Rutherford County, NC, son of the late Fred Arrowood and Edna Harris and was preceded in death by his stepfather, Carl Paysour. Billy was also preceded in death by his wife of many years, Mary Elizabeth Arrowood, his brothers, Junior and David Arrowood and his sisters, Judy Vanadore and Frances Banner. Billy enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful and loving father and grandfather who will be missed greatly by his loving family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Donna Burgess and husband Jonathan, Kings Mountain, NC and Sharon Blanton and husband Phillip, Shelby, NC

Girlfriend of eleven years: Teresa Jenkins, Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Chris Arrowood, Randy Putnam, Heather Phillips, Billy Stilwell and Shelby Stilwell

FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the ollie Harris memorial Chapel

VISITATION: Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
