Bobby B. Guffey, 87, of Shelby, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Bobby was born in Shelby, NC on February 29, 1936 to Raleigh and Pearl M. Guffey.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Freida Louise Hamrick; his sister, Pauline G. Murphy, and brother-in law, Holman "Pat" Murphy of Shelby.

Mr. Guffey served our country in the U.S. Army.

Bobby is survived by his sons, Russell Guffey and wife Sheila of Spartanburg, SC and Douglas Guffey and wife Dana of Shelby; three grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Meredith Pruett.
