Brenda Joyce Price Greene, age 80 of Shelby, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 19, 2024.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Hamrick and husband Dean of Shelby, NC, and Angela Annas and husband Tallant of Shelby, NC, a granddaughter, Brianna Hamrick and husband Dylan of Shelby, NC, two great grandchildren, Haven Hastings and Lucy Hastings, and a brother, Ronald Price and wife Nina of Shelby, NC.

Born July 14, 1944, in Cleveland County, NC, Brenda was the daughter of the late Claude Price and Lillie Mae Toney Price and was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Tommy Greene.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a faithful member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. She was the sweetest mother who loved her family dearly. Brenda enjoyed reading, listening to music, and watching movies. She was a wonderful cook and gathering with family to share the blessings of a meal. Brenda will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
