Mr. Brian Keith Painter, age 50 of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Born December 24, 1975, in Shelby, NC, he was the son of Melinda Drake and Brian A. Painter. He loved UFC fighting and wrestling. Brian was a jack of all trades but loved tinkering with electronics. Brian had one daughter, Taylor Painter Rice and husband Cedrick of Spartanburg, SC, two grandchildren, Zaiden and Asher, both of SC, a sister, Crystal Drake Brady and husband Josh of Cowpens, SC, two brothers, Christopher Drake of Belton, SC, and Bradley Shires of Lincolnton, NC, a uncle, Johnnyh Dover and wife Josie of Clover, SC, and an aunt, Patricia Byers of Shelby, NC.
Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Harold Painter of Grover and Dorothy and Kenneth White of Shelby, and Everette Bowen of Shelby, two uncles, Mike Dover and Jesse Bowen.
The service was held by Rev. Alan Moss at Laurel Wood Ministries.
