Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report June 2nd edition
KOSA
The retirees fished Lake Wylie this past week, with Ned Blanton and Tony Black getting the win. The pair had a very good catch with 15.15 and they anchored that with a 4.80 largemouth that took big bass of the day. JR Garland was second with 11.40 and close behind in third was John Black and Roger McNeilly with 11.15.  This week it is off to a new lake and new adventures, hopefully. Lake Hickory will host the retirees from 7am til 1pm.
Ticona
The Ticona bassin’ bunch have fished two since we last heard from them. The first was on Lake Hickory where Danny and Tommy Edwards got the win with 14.9. Jim and Chris Carrol were a close second with 14.4 while third went to Allen and Gary Gamble with 11.8. Fourth went to Larry Denton and Randy “Wildman” Wright with 11.7. The team of Danny and Tommy Edwards took big bass as well with a 4.10 largemouth. Lake Wylie was the second event and saw Tim Chapman and Mark Leach take the win with 16.6. They also had big bass of the day with a 4.4 largemouth. Larry and Gary Gamble had 15.9 and landed in second while Larry Denton and Randy Wright took third with 11.10. Jody and Tony Black took fourth with 10.14. The next event is on Lake Wylie, June 4 from 5am til 1pm.
Moss
Twenty-one boats blasted off at the weekly Thursday night bass tournament on Moss Lake last week. Chris Carrol and Larry Denton got the win with 10.95. Johnny Guffy and Alan Pickleshimer had 9.95 and were second and also had big bass with a 3.30 largemouth. Third with 8.45 was Nate Baggley and Steve Scism, close behind was Nathan White and Scott Yarbro with 8.35. Rounding out the top five was Brian and Cody Hoyle with 8.25.
